our 10 commitments to our customers

Advance Wealth promises to adhere to a culture of mutual respect both internally and with its clients. Arrogance and a patronising approach would oppose this and therefore the company’s attitude will be one of respect both for customers and for each customer’s individual knowledge and understanding of whatever is being discussed.

Being Organised & Putting First Things First
Advance Wealth recognises that staying organised is the foundation of a good service. Staying organised ensures that the company keeps to its promises and responds in a timely manner. Advance Wealth’s minimum service standard is a response within 24 working hours and this cannot be achieved without being efficient & putting first things first.

Advance Wealth asks that all its advisors believe in the advice they provide to customers. Advance Wealth understands that anyone can recognise when someone is being dishonest (through body language and tone; everyone is a walking lie detector!), so if an adviser, or any member of staff, loses belief in what they are trying to achieve Advance Wealth asks that they recognise this, and deal with it in the most honest way they can. Advance Wealth only employs individuals who it feels to be honest so that this ethic is shared by the team. Advance Wealth commits to giving advice which reflects the same approach that it uses for its own investments, taking into account attitudes to risk.

Quality Over Cost
The advice Advance Wealth provides promises to have a focus of quality over cost. Cost is important but the main focus is on the benefits the customer will receive first before finding a way to deliver that at a responsible cost.

Advice Not Sales
Advance Wealth abides by the principle of providing advice for life. Advance Wealth advisors are Wealth Planners and not product salesman. So when advice is provided, Advance Wealth makes the commitment to stand by it for future years when reviews are conducted. The focus will therefore be on creating something that stands the test of time. Wherever possible Advance Wealth will spend time and effort on research, not ‘branding’ – it’s better to supply something worthwhile than simply a glossy brochure with no real substance, there’s enough of that around.

Advance Wealth promises to stand by the following principles by Dr Steven Covey (the 7 habits of highly effective people).

Combine the strengths of people through positive teamwork, so as to achieve goals no one person could have done alone. Get the best performance out of a group of people through encouraging meaningful contribution and modeling inspirational and supportive leadership.

Think Win-Win
Genuinely strive for mutually beneficial solutions or agreements in your relationships. Value and respect people by understanding a “win” for all is ultimately a better long-term resolution than if only one person in the situation had gotten his way.

Seek First To Understand, Then To Be Understood
Use empathetic listening to genuinely and fully understand an individual’s needs. This creates a more open atmosphere leading to a more caring, respectful and positive problem-solving approach.

Sharpen The Saw
Think about the guy chopping down the tree, it’s taking ages and the saw is blunt. Someone asks him “why don’t you sharpen the saw”, he replies “I’m too busy”. Take time out to improve what you do, for yourself and for your clients.

Be Proactive
Take initiative in life by realising that your decisions (and how they align with life’s principles) are the primary determining factor for effectiveness in your life. Take responsibility for your choices and the subsequent consequences that follow.
