Our Vision & Mission Vision Statement
To give the UK a trusted financial services organisation that truly listens with empathy and understands fully the client’s needs. An organisation the UK public feels it can lean on to ease their financial worries.
Mission Statement
Advance Wealth recognises that clients have, in many cases, been treated poorly by the financial services industry. We understand that advisers haven’t intentionally left clients out in the cold but not all advisers have understood what matters most – regular personal contact.
We aim to look after our clients by making regular personalised telephone or, when requested, face-to-face contact to re-engage the client, earn their trust and build or secure their financial health from the moment they meet us to the end of their live.We are committed to a proactive approach and will never take their loyalty for granted. This will lead to first the South East, then the UK having access to a financial adviser they can trust and rely on.
The most important value in Advance Wealth is respect – for our clients and for each other- by standing by our 10 points of culture.
The 10 points of culture
- Feeling confident. Confidence can’t be forced. However, if we feel our confidence has taken a knock we will be brave enough to acknowledge it and ask for what help the company can provide. In turn we will help our colleagues maintain their confidence through whatever support we can give.
- Admiration from others. If we admire something in a colleague or admire something they have done we’ll let them know. Achievements, however minor, should be acknowledged with a friendly pat on the back. This is not to say we ‘seek’ admiration from others, but instead, simply promise to show it when it’s due.
- Helping others. When appropriate we will attempt to help our colleagues and thus place a deposit in their emotional bank account. We will also ask for help when we feel another has greater skills than us in a particular area.
- Respect. We will adhere to a culture of mutual respect for each other. Arrogance and a patronising approach would oppose this and therefore the atmosphere will be one of respect for others and their individual abilities and skills.
- Freedom. We will recognise that work is not a prison and a sense of freedom is a must. Always remembering that it’s important to rejuvenate and re-energise we will take our allocated holidays and always ensure we come back refreshed. Furthermore we will feel free to put forward ideas to improve the company’s processes and procedures without fear of ridicule.
- Bravery. Members of Advance Wealth will feel they can be brave in their decision making. There is no such thing as a mistake unless it is regularly repeated and strong decision making will be encouraged in line with our vision, mission and points of culture.
- Friendship. We will recognise that clients and colleagues value friendships and strive to be their friends, or at least a friendly voice.
- Being Organised. We will recognise that staying organised is the foundation of a good working life. By creating and maintaining good procedures and practises we can consistently give great & consistent service to clients and colleagues. At the same time, so long as we have good procedures our time will be free to be proactive and creative to help the company achieve its mission and vision, for our mutual benefit.
- Security. We will understand that by creating a great business we are also creating financial security for ourselves and our colleagues. As one of the main human instincts is to seek security, we will strive to create it for each other.
- Improving. Whilst always remembering that being in 5th gear is more effective and achievable than being in 6th, we will always review our current situation and ask ourselves whether we are improving, and therefore attempt to always improve our financial and personal lives.
